How it works
You'll fill out a questionnaire before we meet, so I can get a quick overview of your primary speaking concerns. If you have short video, slides or presentation notes, I'll ask you to send those over as well.
We'll spend our 45-minute conversation focusing on whatever specific questions and issues you'd like to cover:
Identifying your audience, and what they need, want and care about
Clarifying and crystallizing your core message and ideas
Structuring or restructuring your presentation for ideal flow, persuasion and meaning
Crafting a strong opening and memorable closing
Building in activities and exercises to increase your audience's engagement
Role playing a networking event or job interview

Why me?
You might wonder how to differentiate between all of the speaking coaches out there, especially the newer ones (it seems everyone is hanging out a shingle lately...).
I've been speaking, teaching, training, facilitating and coaching for 30 years, first through my work in the nonprofit sector, and now coaching and training speakers in my own business for the last 17 years.
Having started out as a performer, I originally got a B.A. in theater. Determined to combine my performance background with an education-based framework for teaching, I then pursued my M.A. in Education.
I've honed my skills and developed my methods over decades of personal experience, study, coaching and training hundreds of individuals, and practice, practice, practice!
I'm not tacking speaking coaching onto another business. It's not a "side hustle" to a day job or something I'm dipping my toe into.
This is what I've been doing for more than half of my adult life (yes, that does give away my advanced age - ha).
